'Changing Lives: Celebrating 35 Years of Jeffrey Young’s Schema Therapy', features 26 internationally recognized authorities in Schema Therapy who will share highlights from their respective areas of expertise.
Jeff’s first book was published in 1990, Cognitive Therapy for Personality Disorders: A Schema Focused Approach, followed by the primary Schema Therapy reference, The Schema Therapy Practitioner’s Guide, in 2003. In thirty-five years, Schema Therapy has spread throughout the globe. It is time to focus on developing Schema Therapy in North America, where the model was created.
Our celebration of those thirty-five years and the lives that have been changed will culminate with the formal introduction and call to action, mirroring the establishment of the International Society of Schema Therapy during the first Schema Therapy Conference in Coimbra, Portugal, in 2008.
